FAQ
When will Luffu Link ship?
It is expected to ship in early 2027. We will notify you by email as the actual ship time approaches and also offer the ability to adjust or cancel your order at any time up to several days before shipping.
Is a subscription required?
Yes, a monthly Luffu Family Plan is required. Family Plans are sold separately, and will be available later this year. Once the Luffu App is available, you can choose from the standard Family Plan (up to 4 members at $19.99/month) or the Extended Family Plan (up to 8 members at $29.99/month). Number of members in each plan and pricing subject to change.
What if I already have a Luffu subscription?
If you already have a Luffu subscription or are part of a Luffu Family Plan that someone else is paying for, you do not need to purchase anything else and can follow the set up instructions for your Luffu Link by pairing it to your existing Luffu App.
Can I cancel my preorder?
Yes, you will be able to cancel your preorder up to several days before your device ships. We will notify you by email as the actual ship time approaches.
What's the warranty?
We offer a 1-year limited warranty on the device. The warranty covers defects only and liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the device. It does not cover any defect caused by misuse, neglect, tampering, or unauthorized or unintended use.
Does Luffu Link work without a phone nearby?
Yes, certain features are available when you are away from your phone, such as location tracking, voice logging, or help or check in messages. However, these features require cellular network availability and may not work properly indoors, in areas with poor signal quality, or outside the United States.
Does Luffu Link call 911 or emergency services?
No, it does not. However, it will contact trusted people that you specify via the Luffu App.
Is Luffu Link waterproof or shower-safe?
It is water resistant to 50 meters. We strongly recommend against wearing Luffu Link in the shower or bathtub to minimize exposure to soaps, shampoos, conditioners, or other similar substances. Please clean Luffu Link regularly to remove sunscreen and similar substances. Do not wear Luffu Link in high-temperature environments such as a hot tub.
How long does the battery last?
Battery life is intended to be up to 5 days. However, this is dependent on usage of the device along with other factors, such as environment conditions, age and condition of the battery, and other factors such as GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, or cellular network signal quality. The up to 5 days of use between charges assumes 24/7 health tracking, GPS turned off, several voice logs per day, a paired Bluetooth connection to a phone, and only Help messages over LTE. Any additional usage will decrease the number of days of battery life between charges.
What phones does Luffu Link work with?
We recommend that you use an Android phone with Android 14 and above or an Apple iPhone with iOS 18 and above.
What countries does the Luffu Link work in?
For now, the device only works within the United States.
